‘Katham Springs’ has been producing Demeter
certified eggs since 1999. The family run farm consisting
of 1400 acres produces, eggs, prime lamb, beef and a variety
of grains for poultry feed. Our chooks live in mobile sheds
that are moved around small paddocks regularly, they are
guarded from predators by Maremma Guardian Dogs which remain
with them at all times.
Many people are aware of the affect that chemicals in the
food chain are having on their wellbeing and are searching
for a natural alternative. ‘Katham Springs’
is supplying this growing market.
Bio-Dynamics is a holistic natural approach to farming
where looking after the environment and soil is of utmost
importance. Our farming is conducted in as much of a closed
system as possible with no chemical inputs.

formed to encourage and support value adding producers and
protect the integrity of the Island’s produce. Regional
food groups have been established throughout South Australia
