The Kangaroo Island Source specializes in promoting local island produce through gourmet catering, manufacturing and food consultation.

Offering a wide range of menu options from picnic hampers to weddings the Kangaroo Island Source caters to individual needs. We are dedicated to supporting local farmers and producers therefore featuring only regional produce where possible.

Services also include private dinners for 2-20 people offering your own personalized Chef for lunch or dinner. Cooking classes and demonstrations can be included to make your Kangaroo Island Feast a truly exceptional experience. Learning more about regional produce though classes and demonstrations in your holiday accommodation is a great way to relax with family and friends.

The Kangaroo Island Sources’ range of condiments include curry pastes, meat rubs, chutneys and jams further complimenting the fantastic regional produce by using locally grown fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices.

Situated on a working farm the Kangaroo Island Source is committed to reconnecting the kitchen with the land. Our aim is to create a place where people can rediscover the simple pleasures of gathering and cooking with produce as close to its source as possible.

Good Food Kangaroo Island is an industry group formed to encourage and support value adding producers and protect the integrity of the Island’s produce. Regional food groups have been established throughout South Australia and are actively working with producers to establish regional branding and long term relationships with major retailers seeking access to high quality, branded products.
