Rosa Matto’s family comes from the southern region of Italy, called Campania. Its cuisine, like no other, is celebrated in songs and poetry and is full of imagination and inspiration. Kangaroo Island’s favourite Italian Mamma is bringing this imagination and inspiration to our 1st ever Kangaroo Island Seafood Festival as part of Tasting Australia for 2012.
Rosa will join Kate Sumner at the Kangaroo Island Source for a cooking class & lunch on the 28th of April as part of the 5 day festival. Freshwater and Saltwater ingredients will make up a delicious 5 course menu with a hint of Rosa’s Italian background and characterised by simplicity & using only the freshest and most seasonal ingredients available.
