Ferguson Australia is a 3rd generation fishing family with
over 48 years experience in the seafood industry. As a company
we are committed to supporting Australian seafood, we only
list Australian seafood and consciously source product as
locally as possible. With this focus we source 90% of our
product lines from South Australia, with Kangaroo Island
produce making up the core of this.
The Ferguson Australia logo has become synonymous with
high quality produce that is fresh and handled extremely
well. Our popular snap frozen range of seafood is used by
80% of our chefs due to the high quality of the fillet and
the manner in which it is handled and frozen.
With international and local awards for our seafood and
value added lines, Ferguson Australia is proud to be forging
ahead and bringing Australian seafood into many restaurants
and homes both in Australia and overseas, we export our
seafood to over 25 countries.
Many chefs are demanding Kangaroo Island produce and these
restaurants are using Ferguson Australia and Kangaroo Island
branding on their menus.
Good Food Kangaroo Island is an industry group
formed to encourage and support value adding producers and
protect the integrity of the Island’s produce. Regional
food groups have been established throughout South Australia
and are actively working with producers to establish regional
branding and long term relationships with major retailers
seeking access to high quality, branded products.
